Fabulous snakeoil: Durel in the Snakepit
First found over at Doug's (from the Indpendent) but too fabulous not to get maximum circulation:
Ok people, which one is BellSouth and which one Cox? Votes? (Now there is something that demands a vote.)

Cox (Cock) / BS (dragon... old slow but powerful)
Anon, I think you convince me. I had gone with BellSouth as the Snake--with all the connotations of betrayal and sleaziness that attach. And with Cox as the fat, monster complacently gnawing on the innocent lamb. But I think I am won over by the "cock" and the image of the old and sluggish but still powerful dragon.
Ah, art--always open to interpretation. :-)
